The Internet of Things (IoT) has become an emerging topic in the field of digital communication to evolve significantly the modern technologies. To ensure secrecy and privacy of data in IoT applications is the key challenge of this area. To facilitate this enormous challenge, we in detail focus on the security and privacy domain of IoT. By deeply analyzing the challenges in respect of fulfilling the security requirements and protecting the confidential private data, we propose a possible solution to each logical layer of IoT architecture. In addition, we designed the encryption mechanism, decentralizing privacy, secure communication, lightweight cryptographic protocol and demonstration of solutions to all security threats.
