A Systematic Review on POS Tagging

A systematic and state-of-art review of Part-of-Speech (POS) taggers is presented in this work. This paper explains the strategies, followed by researchers, in the domain of text tagging to enhance the performance of existing POS taggers. Research trends in various natural language frameworks on POS taggers are provided with suitable evidence and a summary.
