Research and implementation of driving distance detection and warning system for automobile assisted driving based on Android platform

With the rapid development of mobile phones, it is possible to use computer vision recognition technology on modern smartphones to help detect driving and their distances. This paper studies and implements the detection of pedestrians and vehicles using Yolo on Android platform, and estimates pedestrian or vehicles distances based on its location data, and then implements a vehicle-assisted driving safety warning system.
