Normal-valued Ω -groups

We now meet what has become the most important class of Ω-groups, the normal-valued Ω-groups. As will be shown, this class is an Ω-variety that contains all other proper Ω-varieties. The condition that a regular subgroup be normal in its cover has many consequences and removes most of the pathologies encountered in Ω-permutation groups.
