Most conventional processors utilize cache storage with static random access memory. Other technologies have also been used to store caches, such as integrated dynamic-random access memory and Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM). SDRAM has more excellent transmission rates than the asynchronous Random Access Memory (DRAM). To govern the data flow, a memory controller is required. A high-speed storage controller also uses high dynamic power and speed restriction. This requires an optimized memory controller to minimize the memory controller's power consumption. This study suggested lowering the memory controller's dynamic power by minimizing switching operations and increasing the refreshing. This study aims to deploy a controller design using the refresh technique switching power optimization in the Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). The performance of the Xilinx 14.4 ISE simulator is assessed.
