In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been applied in many real-time sensing applications for im-proving the wireless communication or network quality. In this paper, we consider an UAV-assisted sensing and communication system in which one UAV assists sensing targets and transmits the sensing data to the base station (BS). In order to keep the information received at the BS up-to-date, we minimize the average peak age-of-information (PAoI) of all updates by jointly optimizing the target visiting sequence, UAV trajectory, time and power allocations. Further, we propose a two-stage solution to solve this mixed integer non-convex problem. Specifically, we first optimize the target visiting sequence, UAV locations and flight time by a non-convex penalty (NCP) method. Then based on the obtained solution, we minimize the average PAoI by using convex optimization techniques to optimize the transmission time and power. Simulation results verify the validity of the proposed algorithm, and show that how the average PAoI are affected by different parameters.
