With continuously shrinking feature sizes of integrated circuits, most semiconductor companies have become fabless i.e., chip manufacturing has been outsourced However, by outsourcing critical stages of IC fabrication, the design house puts trust in entities which may have malicious intents. This exposes the design industry to several threats, including piracy via unauthorized overproduction and subsequent reselling on the black market.A significant solution to this problem is logic locking where the true functionality of the chip is secure by using the configuration key which is known to the designer only.Based upon the authenticity of the configuration key the chip produces correct or faulty outputs. In order to successfully implement logic encryption technique, it is crucial to secure and transfer the configuration key to a customer without being reverse engineered or attacked. This thesis gives an overview of logic locking and secure protocol System on chip (SoC) developed to secure, authenticate and activate the configuration key.The protocol entails (i) RSA Key Generation block, to generate the pair of Public and Private Key (ii) Prime Number Generation Block, the input to Key generation block (iii) Physical Unclonable Function (PUF), to maintain uniqueness of each chip. This thesis mainly focuses on design and implementation of Key generation block which generates a public key to encrypt the configuration key at design house and Private key to authenticate and decrypt the configuration key at System on Chip.In order to design Key generation, we have developed and implemented Advanced Euclidean I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to my committee chair and advisor, Professor Hamid Mahmoodi, for the continuous support of my master's study and research, for his patience, motivation, enthusiasm, and immense knowledge. His guidance helped me through
