Considerations for Rules and Regulations to Improve Effectiveness of Using Field Data Analysis Results

Purpose: To improve the effectiveness of using field data analysis results, we study the current rules and regulations established for South Korea.BRMethods: We investigate the current laws and regulations related to reliability of weapons systems. Additionally, we review documents such as the RAM, CBM plus guidebook, and RAM-C published by the US Department of Defense.BRResults: The current laws and regulations regarding field data analysis results of weapons systems are examined in detail.BRConclusion: To enhance the effectiveness of using the aforementioned field data analysis results, after reviewing the currently available regulations/rules, we clarify additional regulations/rules required in the defense field for South Korea.
