It is not uncommon for a person to lose the ability to speak over the course of his life due to certain diseases or injuries. In some cases, medicine can fully or partially restore this ability, but often a person is permanently speechless. In such cases, people use sign language or some technical means that can translate text into speech to communicate. However, these options do not fully compensate for the lost abilities. This paper proposes, as a solution to this problem, a speech synthesis system capable of generating speech in a voice most similar to the voice of a person that he had before he lost the ability to speak.
