Welcome to the public repository for the additional content of the paper "Developing Software Engineering-related Guidelines for Future Emergency Situations based on the Example of the COVID-19 Pandemic". This repository provides additional information concerning this Master thesis, including the following files: researchMethod_SLR_Articles_2022.csv: sheet containing all papers fetched from IEEEXplore, Scopus, and the ACM Guide to Computing Literature researchMethods_Results_SLR_2022.csv: sheet containing information regarding the analysis results of 31 included papers based on the extraction criteria researchMethods_Results_ExpertInterview_2022.csv: sheet containing all answers of interviewed experts researchMethods_Results_2022_edited.xlsx: sheet containing formatted information regarding the results of both research methods For successfully replicating the thesis, follow the next steps we applied in our thesis. We defined the following selection criteria: The paper is written in English. The paper has been published between 2017 and 2022. The paper is a peer-reviewed conference paper or journal article (e.g., excluding keynote summaries or posters). The paper is longer than three pages. The publication deals with SE during emergency situations. We searched in IEEEXplore (155 papers), Scopus (22 papers), and the ACM Guide to Computing Literature (70 papers) by applying the following search string on March 05, 2022: ("software engineering" OR "agile" OR "software development") AND ("start*up*" OR "software compan*") AND ("corona*" OR "COVID*" OR "pandemic" OR "emergency") We removed 16 duplicates. After title (76 papers), abstract (37 papers), and full-text (30 papers) selection, we employed one iteration of backwards snowballing, resulting in 35 paper for full-text analysis An analysis sheet was created (researchMethod_SLR_Articles_2022.csv) containing all entries of the literature bases before the extractions were performed
