Algorithm for Separating Matrix Spectrum by an Angle

Abstract An algorithm for separating the matrix spectrum by a piecewise-smooth curve, namely, by an angle, is presented. A complete description of the problem and its solution is given. The presentation begins from its statement and brief exposition of the theoretical foundations of the basic dichotomy algorithms and ends with numerical examples of using the matrix spectrum dichotomy algorithm by the angle.
