Interlude
Earl Aguilera · 2022
This chapter serves as a bridge between the theorization about digital literacy discussed in the first half of the book, and the methodological and practical implications of that theory. The chapter first outlines the domain of computer programming as a generative context for studying digital literacy. It then describes one particular site, a library-based computer programming club for adolescent youth, which will serve as the basis for three sample analyses presented in the latter half of the book.
