The Neumann problem for the Laplacian in half-spaces

Even in the case of the Laplacian considered in a half-space, there exist infinitely many Neumann problems and their well-posedness is affected by how the coefficient matrix interacts with the unit normal for the half-space in question. In this paper we study this interplay between algebra and geometry.
