The impact of wireless applications is on its rise in our day-to-day life. These applications in particular focus the delivery of packets containing data in a defined value of time. These are known as delay constraints. The diverse nature of networking applications generates varying traffic patterns in wireless networks. To ensure that the demands of these real time networks are met, there should be a design consideration to handle these demands. A model that is capable of considering the fluctuating nature of wireless links, the requirements put forward by the clients and the altering traffic pattern. Based on these constraints in this paper, a feasible broadcasting policy that ensures the required throughput of a system is satisfied using network coding is proposed. It shows that the task of designing the feasible-optimal broadcasting policy is reduced to finding a policy that ensures maximum throughput. The scheme uses linear coding scheme which ensures the specified demands of the clients are met. The results are compared with the traditional round robin policy and it reveals that the current scheme entails better performance. Since the numbers of trans missions are reduced using linear coding the scheduling policy also counts well for energy efficiency
