Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) technology is the key nanotechnology for the implementation of the digital circuits. QCA is the possible alternative of the conventional field effect transistor (FET) technology. The importance of the QCA lies in increasing the speed of electronic circuits in a small size. Reversibility is the phenomena to keep the lower energy dissipation by making a bijective functionality. In this research paper, a multi-functional reversible logic gate is designed and simulated using QCA nanotechnology. The proposed reversible logic gate can be used for the implementation of the different logic gates. The performance of the multi-functional reversible logic gate is evaluated for the different parameters. The comparative analysis reflects that multi-functional reversible logic gate saves 65.17% cells, and 76.92% clocks as compared to the existing design. The proposed circuit contains less number of QCA cells, area, and clocks without any garbage output.
