In the context of the new era of Internet of everything, emerging mobile applications are widely used. However, it also brings problems such as network congestion, high latency, and poor quality of user experience. The end-to-end transmission mechanism commonly used in current networks leads to duplicate transmission of popular contents in the network, resulting in wasted network resources and bandwidth. In contrast, the services caching mechanism of edge computing can effectively improve resource reuse, reduce latency, and enhance user experience. In order to improve cache utilization and reduce the latency of responding to user requests, this paper proposes an edge-cloud collaborative caching architecture that uses service information tables to achieve cache resource sharing, followed by an efficient service cache replacement algorithm that combines user historical usage preferences and service data size to cache services that are used more often by users on edge nodes. The results show that the mechanism proposed in this paper is better than can effectively increase the cache value, improve the cache hit ratio, and reduce the average response time during task offloading.
