Virtualization Environment in Cloud Computing

This chapter deals with virtualization, which is the most important characteristic of cloud infrastructure. Virtualization presents a logical view of original things. In real-time scenario, when a user opens their computer icon, some hard drive partitions appear such as Local Disk (: C), Local Disk (: D), Local Disk (: E) and so on. The partition is the logical division of a hard disk drive to create a user-friendly view of multiple numbers of separate hard drives. Are there really multiple numbers of separate hard drives? No, not at all. You have probably seen your hard disk in your computer. It is only a single device. Hence, virtualization is a technique by which a logical view of actual things can be undertaken. In cloud computing environment, there are a multiple number of servers connected through a network which make an environment through virtualization technique that creates an interface on which users can access data and deploy their applications without their needing to know the underlying process, such as our hard drive example.
