Sending and Receiving E‐Mail

MacOS includes Mail, a powerful e-mail app. After setting up e-mail accounts, a user can send and receive e-mail messages and files. If the user add an iCloud account to the user account during initial setup or in System Preferences, macOS can automatically set up e-mail in Mail. After setup, the user can add other e-mail accounts manually. The Mail app enables the user to send an e-mail message to anybody whose e-mail address they know. After starting a new message, the user can specify the recipient's address either by typing it directly into the To field or by selecting it from the list of contacts in the Contacts app. The Mail enables to receive incoming messages easily and read them in whatever order the user prefers. When working with e-mail, it often helps to display the mailbox list on the left side of the window.
