Hybrid anti-collision algorithm based on RFID system

As a kind of non-contact automatic identification system, RFID technology has been widely used in electronic payment, supply chain management, trac management and road toll systems and so on[1]. A typical RFID system consists of four parts: reader, tags, antennas and computer processing system[2]. Tags are generally attached to the surface or inside of objects which need to be identified and store some data of those objects. When tags appear in the identification scope of a reader, the reader will send a query command through antennas to read out specific data information stored in the tags. If two or more tags send data to a reader at the same time, tag collision occurs. In this situation, the tags cannot be successful identified, thus seriously affecting the identification efficiency of RFID system[3]. Therefore, in order to have a faster identification speed and higher accuracy in RFID system, it is very vital significance to study the tag anti-collision algorithm.
