Message from the Chairs of SATA 2012

The International Workshop on Software Analysis, Testing and Applications (SATA) 2012 provides opportunities for researchers to exchange views and discuss the latest developments on software analysis, testing and related areas.It also serves as an incubator for the community to work towards a particular research agenda for software analysis/testing techniques and applications.The workshop has accepted 9 papers addressing the software engineering challenges in the application of these techniques in source code pre-processing, program structure simplification, resource leaks, bug fix prediction, and so on.These papers have covered a range of topics such as code analysis and program understanding, design patterns, model-driven software analysis, software testing, and software debugging.
