HTTP Networking

Anwar Ludin · Apress eBooks · 2014

HTTP networking is ubiquitous on mobile devices. This book would certainly not be complete if it did not include a chapter explaining how to use the BlackBerry 10 networking services. In this chapter, I am going to exclusively concentrate on HTTP networking, which covers about 90 percent of the cases you will face during application development. Also, BlackBerry 10 leverages the underlying QtNetwork module, which makes HTTP programming amazingly simple. The goal of this chapter is to show you how the different networking classes work together to access HTTP servers from a BlackBerry 10 mobile device. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
