New product applications: Low-price, portable, 3 1/2-digit multimeters designed for a wide range of applications

Five new 3 1/2-digit portable multimeters with low price tags have been designed for a wide range of applications. Three models - the 3010, 3020, and RMS-3030 - are for use by engineers, technicians, and service representatives. Two models - the TECH-300 and TECH-310 - are for technicians and hobbyists. All feature 10-A ac/dc ranges (not available on the Model TECH-300), two-year battery life, a semiconductor test function, and overload protection on all ranges. A quick continuity test function (not available on the Model TECH-300) enables users to measure continuity with the speed of an analog volt-ohm meter.
