Evolutionary Computing and Swarm Intelligence for Hyper Parameters Optimization Problem in Convolutional Neural Networks

In recent years, deep learning has become most popular and ia used in various applications like agriculture, business, healthcare and many other domains. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) is most widely used and it has attained notable improvements in the various real-world scenarios and problems. The network for the specified task results in improved accuracy by applying hyperparameters configuration. This chapter aims to offer a summary of deep learning, metaheuristic in hyperparameter optimizations, problems, challenges, and future perspectives. The working strategy of CNNs with its structure, characteristics and problems are discussed. Evolutionary computing, CNN and swarm intelligence are also summarized.
