Three-in-one analysisA new analysis system from EDAX combines three different techniques.The EDAX Trident System offers energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, electron backscattered diffraction, and wavelength dispersive spectrometry.Together, these capabilities give a powerful instrument that can determine the relationships between a sample's physical properties, morphology, elemental composition, and crystal structure.The Trident System integrates all three techniques into a single PC environment.Data from the three techniques can be combined, and the speed of data processing is improved.The system can be used with any scanning electron micrograph.
