The International Symposium on Instrumentation Systems, Circuits and Transducers -INSCIT is a forum dedicated to the presentation and discussion of research and development in instrumentation focusing systems, subsystems and circuits required for measurement, and including transducers, data conversion, storage and transmission, power management and testing.The goal of the symposium is to bring together researchers working in the fields of instrumentation and measurement science, circuits, transducers and systems design, covering both integrated and discrete solutions.Presented papers are submitted to the IEEEXplore and considered for the Symposium Best Paper Award.The 2018 3rd INSCIT was held in the joint symposia Chip in the Pampa, taking place in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.Joint symposia were the 33 rd Symposium on Microelectronics Technologies and Devices (SBMicro), the 31 st Symposium on Integrated Circuits and Systems Design (SBCCI), 8 th Workshop on Circuits and Systems Design (WCAS) and the 18 th Microelectronics Students Forum (SForum).The 3 rd INSCIT had 11 topics of interest and received 46 full papers submissions, which were reviewed by 64 reviewers.28 papers were accepted for presentation, with an acceptance ratio of 60%, and presented in six technical sessions.The 3 rd INSCIT also featured two invited talks and a discussion panel.
