EasyLanguage is a trademark of tradeStation; it is a software product name. The Easy-Language product can be thought of as a specialized word processor, or editor, that allows drawing indicators and to specify and test trading strategies. TradeStation has done a remarkable job of both making the rules easy to understand and learn, in addition to providing the power and complexity that an advanced programmer might need. It is comprised of simple words, operators, and punctuation that allow one to specify trading rules or instructions. This chapter helps to understand how to start, how to put a chart in the workspace, and how to put an indicator on the chart. It also explains how to create a strategy, its addition to chart, and how to analyse the results.
