N otifying the user of changes in the application environment is a common requirement for applications of all types, but is especially useful in web applications when processes may need to happen asynchronously and you cannot necessarily demand the user’s attention for the duration of the operation. Sometimes the notification will be generated as the result of a completely different user’s action, and that is the situation I have chosen to model in the timesheet application: the administrative user will be notified when a user updates a timesheet. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
