Retailers hit by malware-based hacking attacks

More information has emerged in the massive data breach at US retail giant Target. Hackers made off with 40 million users’ payment card details, and a further 70 million customer records. As researchers piece together the details of the breach, other retailers and Point of Sale (PoS) system users have been hit, and the FBI has warned of more to come.
