Convergence analysis of iterative soft decoded partial response channels

In this paper, we investigate the convergence of iterative soft decoded PR channels and predict the BER performance of the system. The convergence analysis also provides an explanation for the block error statistics of the concatenated systems, and implications for system design are discussed.
