The ability to predict needed variability in future assets is an important element for successful reuse. To identify measures of reusability research is needed and methods are needed to validate and estimate the number of potential reuses. So there is a gap between the need of useful data from historical data to software project management practices. To bridge this gap knowledge discovery process is used which can extract useful data effectively and efficiently using various metrics. Finally, project manager uses this knowledge for better management of software process. The remaining paper is organized as follows: Section II describes the related work. Section III provides proposed methodology and section IV gives brief sketch of proposed tool.
