Nigerian bank biometrics deployed in government fraud clampdown

The Nigeria government has tapped into the automatic biometric identification system of the Nigerian banks, supplied by German company Dermalog, to identify that more than 23,000 public service employees either did not exist or had been receiving their salary unlawfully.
