BADLAB/sup TM/ - a canadian broadband applications and demonstration testbed at the communications research centre

The Broadband Applications and Demonstration Laboratory is introduced as an R&D facility to demonstrate and test broadband applications and services based on ATM technology. The equipment associated with the facility and its mission are presented along with its connectivity to various network infrastructures, including Satcom. What has been accomplished, the lessons learned, and what lies ahead are described.
