Smart Offices

Offices are places where office work is done and can include corridors, buildings, and meeting rooms. Smart offices have features that must be taken into account when designing them: offices are places where existing software is commonly used, where different media can be present, and in which various kinds of activities take place. The goal of this chapter is to illustrate the benefits of smart environments technologies in office environments, and how such technologies can be applied in this particular sub-domain.
