Veridium wins funds to pilot Android biometrics in developing regions

Identity access management solutions provider Veridium is to develop and field test biometric authentication technology on unmodified Android smartphones, improving the way populations in developing countries can access and enrol in financial and government programmes. The Digital Financial Services Innovation Lab, DFS Tech, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is supporting Veridium in this work with a grant.
