Dong Liu, Yalin Zhang, Hua Zhang, Fang Lou · 2021 China Automation Congress (CAC) · 2021
It is very important to identify and control the user behavior of high performance computing system, especially the abnormal behavior. This article proposes a new model that improves the safety of HPC systems by fully integrating protection and monitoring technologies. The model covers physical security, host security, network security, and application security. The security of computing resources and user data is achieved through enhanced application layer access control. Various types of log data are collected to analyze user behavior and identify abnormalities. The analysis result will be used as a reference for authority adjustment. The proposed method implements behavior monitoring in a low-intrusion manner, and has the ability to detect unauthorized access and sharing behavior. It upgrades HPC system security protection from traditional border protection to business-based behavior control.
