A direct algorithm for synthesis of stable feedback shift registers

The sufficient and necessary conditions for generating a stable sequence by means of a stable feedback shift register (FSR) is proved in this paper. A direct algorithm is presented for synthesis of stable FSRs with a miniumm number of stages n.
