When it comes to information security, many manufacturers, utilities and other firms operating in the industrial sector are coming late to the party. A legacy of isolated operational technology (OT) systems running on obscure, proprietary architectures has resulted in too many believing they are immune to the cyber risks facing business IT. They are not.
