Design/synthesis workshop session

J.R. Logan · 20th Design Automation Conference Proceedings · 1983

Many approaches have been tried in logic synthesis. Some of them are capable of being productive. This panel comprises much of the current thinking, speculating, and ruminating in the field. It is expected that workshop attendees will have something to say of significance, and so add to the results of the session. Here is a list of the panel members, with their affiliations and a few words on the thoughts of each with regard to Design/Synthesis. Notice that there is a mix of academia and industry in this panel, and more than one member has been in both communities. The complete panel presentation was not made available for publication as part of the conference proceedings.
