Gentoo Linux
Jose Dieguez Castro · Apress eBooks · 2016
In April of 1999, Daniel Robbins, an American programmer, started writing the Enoch Linux distro. The idea was to create a Linux distro that was as fast as possible by compiling each package tuned to specific hardware instead of using generic precompiled binaries. You only had to install the packages you really needed/wanted, so it was also a light and versatile distribution. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
