Soft Computing Techniques: An Overview

In today&s;s complex real-world problems, we have to use newer tools with more capabilities instead of the classic modeling and solving tools. Soft computing is exactly the powerful tool that allows us to model and solve complex, large-scale real-world problems. Not only soft computing tools can be used individually, but by combining them together, better tools can be obtained to model various aspects of real problems such as complexity and uncertainty simultaneously. In this chapter, a concise review of soft computing techniques will be provided.
