Woori Bank deploys biometrics at ATMs

One of South Korea's largest banking groups Woori is to deploy fingerprint technology at its ATMs throughout Korea in a bid to tighten up the security of its customers' banking transactions. The biometric technology will also be used in place of traditional passwords in order to authenticate customers performing transactions across the Internet.
