IN two previous editorials1 , 2 the Journal expressed disapproval of the policy of the Reader's Digest in publishing articles3 , 4 that tend to misinform and mislead the public. Those opinions still stand for implications made in an article, entitled "Atabrine Fully Vindicated: Malaria, scourge of mankind, can be licked," appearing in the December, 1944, issue of the same periodical.Incidentally, the current article indicates that the author has now learned that mosquito control is a major part of malaria control.
