Fuzzy Logic and Possibility Theory-Based Fusion

Since it is strongly felt that the concepts of fuzzy logic (FL) would find increasing use in target tracking, state estimation, sensor data fusion (DF) and decision fusion, it would be feasible to develop explicit DF processes, procedures and rules based on the mathematics of FL, interval type 2 fuzzy logic (IT2FL) and the related possibility theory.
