This chapter discusses the Windows application development using the Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC). It describes the appreciation of what code the Application wizard generates for a MFC program and what options is provided for the features to be included in the code. The chapter is concerned mainly with the mechanics of using the Microsoft Foundation Class Application Wizard. It discusses the basic components of the MFC programs that the Application Wizard generates for both Single Document Interface (SDI) and Multiple Document Interface (MDI) applications. All MFC examples are created by the MFC Application Wizard.
