A recent engineering graduate of the University of Arizona, Jeff Wilkins returned home to Columbus, Ohio, in 1969, to work for his father-in-law, Harry Gard Sr., who ran a successful insurance company called Golden United Life Insurance. It was a subsidiary of another Gard company, Golden United Investments (that company’s name would be changed to Ilex in 1973). These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
