Approach to the Study of Criminal Evidence
Jefferson L. Ingram · 2017
Logical rationales for having rules of evidence and for developing reasons to either admit or exclude evidence are presented in this chapter. Following a comparison between the rules of evidence in civil and criminal cases, the way the evidence flows through the American criminal justice system during the pretrial stage and how evidence is presented at trial receives due consideration. The use of evidence following a conviction in probation and parole hearings receives appropriate treatment.
