Concatenated Turbo Polar Codes: An Overview

Although the polar codes can achieve the Binary-Input Discrete Memoryless Channel (BI-DMLC) capacity, their performance deteriorates at the finite-code lengths, especially in small SNRs. Therefore, the Turbo Polar Codes are proposed to improve the performance of polar codes in a finite-length regime. In this paper, several turbo polar codes are presented to review the state of the art in Turbo polar codes.
