Normality vs. lognormality with applications

Tests of normality within the general framework of testing of goodness Of fit off incompletely specified distributions are discussed. A separate families test, introduced by Cox, is adapted for testing lognormality against normality. Applications of 5 tests described in the paper to systolic blood pressure data are carried out.
