Patterns of five integers in arrays are generated from simple rules. The studies are focused upon the strange figures formed by the highest integer. Some effects of breaking the rules by misplacement of single integers are investigated. The procedure may have relevance to different phenomena such as crystallization and crystal growth. However, this work does not propose any actual models for such phenomena.
