The increasing complexity and coupling of technical devices and systems leads to challenges in controllability and administrability. Self-adaptive and self-organising solutions attempt to address these challenges by autonomously altering the system's behaviour at runtime, with a focus on the interaction of (partially) autonomous, decentralised units. To achieve the most efficient overall system control, we need a suitable quantification of the observed behaviour. In this paper, we present a contribution to an integrated measurement framework that measures the coherence of configurations. We investigate the behaviour of the metrics in example applications and compare it with alternative methods such as the homeostasis metric.
